system_repair.EXE

Your computer has been hacked, and so you have to run SYSTEM_REPAIR.EXE to keep away all the viruses. In this retro 2D survival game, you play as an antivirus trying to repair the corruption caused by the malware that is attacking your system. 

Whether you run the encryption tool to protect your files, or you use the repair tool to fix the firewalls, the viruses will keep coming to corrupt them and steal your data. Make sure to send them to quarantine before they hijack your tools or, worse, get to your secret meme folder! 

This project was done in 48h for the 2020 Global Game Jam, with the challenge theme "Repair". Unfortunately, due to time constraints, not all of the implemented mechanics were included in the final version.

I worked specifically on the game design, coding, character design, animations, and art direction of the game, in collaboration with Márcio Oeiras (UI) and Daniel Santos (pixel art).
